Evenly spaced out in the Valley, all our holiday cottages come with spectacular sea views. In fact, you can pop into the sea for a paddle then walk the 200 yds back to your cottage to dry off.

 

Local Dog-Friendly Walks 

Sennen Cove is part of Whitesand Bay, its rolling waves are popular with surfers, and families love the wide sandy beach. Please note that from 13th May to 30th September, your dogs are not allowed on the beach from 10 am to 6 pm - but plenty of lovely morning and sunset walks. At low tide, you can walk to Gwynver Beach, a pet friendly beach with no restrictions.

Another of the lovely walks enjoyed in this part of West Cornwall is the South West coast path from Sennen Cove to Lands End, around 3.3 miles. Enjoy this area of outstanding natural beauty with a moderately challenging walk - your pet will love it. You could also stretch yourself a little and walk past Lands End to the pet-friendly Nanjizal beach. 

If you head north from Sennen Cove, you’ll reach Gwyner Beach, then onto Ayr Point and the dog friendly beach of Cape Cornwall. Don’t forget you can also experience inland Cornwall’s dramatic history and beauty. Feel up to a good hike? Then how about the 6.3 miles to the Merry Maidens Stone Circle - recommend being picked up for the return journey. A walk to this rural location may even exhaust your four legged friend!

6-miles of rugged and stunning sea views, maybe you can discover some secret coves before heading back through the rugged Cornish countryside.

Marazion To Perranuthnoe

Follow the coastal walk to get a good look at St Michals Mount, a historic castle and garden. Then, as long as you keep the tide times in mind, take the route to St Michaels Mount along the causeway. The island cafe is dog-friendly, but please keep your dogs on the lead.

Alternatively, another route takes you through Marazion past the Copper Spoon cafe to a very photogenic view of St Michaels Mount. On the way back, you and your canine friend can grab a beer or glass of wine in the local pub, the Fire Engine’s beer garden.

Many attractions draw people to Cornwall, the natural beauty of the area being top of the list. But maybe you fancy something different for a day out? Perhaps consider a trip to North Cornwall and Newquay. A visit to Lappa Valley in North Cornwall is a must. Dogs are very welcome, as can be seen by the numerous water bowls and doggy biscuits located around the site. You can even take well-behaved dogs on the Lappa Valley Steam Railway, as long as they are leashed and do not sit on the seats.
